CIVIX
This game is an example of a First Amendment Accelerator.
The First Amendment:
"Congress shall make no law
Our Constitution recognized that these activities are inherent to human identity, so sacred that they must not be obstructed by laws or government. However, laws made by Congress are not the only ways that we can be obstructed from doing these things. We might block ourselves from doing these activities; out of habit or hopelessness.
Below is the essence of the First Amendment, as it applies to each person. These are things we ought to be doing more of. It is a prescription for how to improve your own life, in connection with others as well.
A First Amendment Accelerator prompts the activities, makes space for it, put it all as a goal on the table so that we may consciously decide to override our complacency: YES. We are willing to enroll in activities that are for our own good.
The Game begins in conversation but becomes more than that. Taking turns to speak means listening is a big part of the Game. It is not just a Free Speech accelerator, but accelerates the synergy of your group. The whole game contains many parts. Liberating speech is a part. Assembly with peers is a part. Writing it down is a part. There is a reason that the several rights are grouped together in one amendment. These human activities are designed to work together.
The First Amendment indicates the components of human intelligence. The first amendment is a way of defining the activities of consciousness. Consciousness is the ability and ongoing process to make the best of things.
