Circle of Friends

We form friendships based on a common interest or set of values. The old way of friendship is to be a yes-man, to lie and dissemble, and fortify each other's illusions. That whole dynamic is part of the process of addiction. Play a new way. 

The Questions:
What have you heard about me that you haven't mentioned to me, or asked me about? 
Please ask me for my side of the story, and I will do the same for you.

(Hint: Do not write these answers down! Sit around in person and tell these to each other, face to face. Hang in there through the bumpy parts. Enjoy the campfire.)  

This ongoing dialogue, and other questions of this type, is a key part of the strength of your team. This whole Game is best played as a team. Tell the truth to each other not in a "gossip" way, but instead to deepen awareness, connection and genuine trust for each other. 

The ongoing practice of being honest with each other is a lifestyle change of its own!
